If you didn’t know, the MW2ML Technology website (version 1) was designed and built in Google Apps Standard and the MW2ML Blog is hosted on Blogger. In settling on this initial combination of platforms, I stumbled upon a few good Blog posts and How-to’s that I thought worth sharing. If you’re a new business starting-up or are just looking to establish an online presence, there are a number of ways to get started, most of which require little (if any) web programming experience.
In this first post about building a Small Business or Personal Website, I’d like to point you to a blog tip I found online: Building a Small Business Website with Blogger (Part 1).
As mentioned in the blog, Blogger’s interface is incredibly intuitive and easy to learn. Blogger allows you to quickly create a website, and edit it as many times as needed. Also, Blogger is completely free and there are no content restrictions. This means you can basically create your website for nothing. If you wish to take your website a step further, you can purchase a domain name (for less than $20 per year) and/or customize the site’s theme which allows you to brand your Blogger website.
In my own experience, Blogger has been a breeze! I love its simplicity, even though I’ve made a few modifications to my own blog which has increased its complexity.
