I stumbled onto a blog post by an IT Consulting firm (Simplex-IT) down in Hudson, Ohio that I thought worth sharing. The post is a quick-hit review of three (relatively) inexpensive routers aimed at Small Businesses. Sometimes, you need something with a few more bells and whistles than your home Internet gateway router:

Here are links to the routers mentioned in the Blog Post:
- Netopia R910 Ethernet Router (4-port) – $181
- Cisco RVS4000 4-port Gigabit Security Router – VPN – $132
- D-Link DIR-130 NetDefend VPN Firewall8-Port 10/100Mbps Switch – $95

UPDATE: Stephen brought up a great point with his comment. You can sometimes find the Cisco ASA 5505 for close to that $300 price point (currently it’s on Amazon for $350). If you’re interested, Cisco has plenty of detailed product information about the ASA 5500 series available on their website.
