If any of you have read my previous post “Google Voice – All your Phones, Simplified to One” and looked into the service, you may have seen a blurb that there are clients available for smartphones such as the iPhone and Blackberry. However, it appears that Apple started blocking Google Voice related applications from its App Store and have begun the process of removing any previously approved applications as well.
It appears that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) took notice, and has issued letters to Apple, AT&T, and Google regarding the matter. This may be an interesting story to follow in the next few months if you’re an iPhone owner!
