I just read on CNET that Research in Motion has just released a new version of the Blackberry Messenger application. This program allows you to send messages, pictures, and files similar to sending emails. This also gives you greater flexibility than SMS/MMS text messages. One of the new features I like, you can now add friends by having messenger create a barcode that can be captured with the camera on another blackberry. This has got to be easier than hunting down your PIN numbers (your blackberry’s unique device identity) to swap!
